I work as an urban researcher and planner at sk architektur&stadtplanung and as an external teaching assistant at the Research Unit of Urban Design, Institute of Urban Design and Landscape Architecture at University of Technology of Vienna.
I studied Architecture at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.) and Vienna University of Technology (Erasmus) and Urban Design at Technical University of Berlin.
I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate at the Department of Urban Planning and Regional Development, School of Architecture at A.U.Th. and a fellow of IKY Fellowship of Excellence for Postgraduate Studies in Greece - Siemens Program (2012 - 2016). The title of my current study is “Urban form, evolution and dynamics. Urban tissues in Thessaloniki, Greeceā. This research focuses on understanding the complex nature of urban form, the changes and the processes taking place in the urban environment, and specifically on the codification of urban tissues in Greek cities.
I have working experience in architecture offices in Greece and Austria and I participated in research programs and intensive workshops in Italy, Germany, Poland and in Greece.
As a member of the Research Unit of South European Cities at the Department of Urban Planning and Regional Development, A.U.Th., I conduct research on morphogenesis and urban transformations, production and evolution processes of the urban form in contemporary urban landscapes.
